KEY FILMS IN THE 2015 LINEUP

PHOENIX, AZ (February 26, 2015) – The Phoenix Film Festival is proud to announce the first group of key films in the 2015 lineup! Opening night will kick off on Thursday, March 26th with Bleecker Street Media’s DANNY COLLINS, starring Al Pacino, Annette Bening, Jennifer Garner, Bobby Cannavale and Christopher Plummer. The writer and director, Dan Fogelman, will also be present for a Q&A discussion before the screening.

The Thursday, April 2nd closing night film will be A24’s WHILE WE’RE YOUNG, starring Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts, Adam Driver, Amanda Seyfried, Charles Grodin and Adam Horovitz of Beastie Boys. The film is written and directed by Noah Baumbach (THE SQUID & THE WHALE, GREENBERG, FRANCES HA). Rated R. RESULTS – Two mismatched personal trainers’ lives are upended by the actions of a new wealthy client. RESULTS stars Guy Pierce, Cobie Smulders, Kevin Corrigan, Giovanni Ribisi, Brooklyn Decker and Anthony Michael Hall.

MONKEY KINGDOM – This is the sixth film in the DisneyNature series.

BEST OF ENEMIES – A documentary that premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, about the debates between Gore Vidal and William F. Buckley, featuring the voices of Kelsey Grammar and John Lithgow.

KILL ME THREE TIMES – Professional hit-man Charlie Wolfe finds himself in three tales of murder, blackmail and revenge after a botched contract assignment. KILL ME THREE TIMES stars Teresa Palmer, Simon Pegg, Luke Hemsworth, and Bryan Brown.

The 15th Annual Phoenix Film Festival occurs this year from Thursday, March 26th to Thursday, April 2nd. Continually breaking attendance records since its inception, last year’s festival saw over 25,000 attendees and there are hopes to pull in even more film enthusiasts this year. The week-long Festival will be held once again at Harkins Scottsdale 101 Theatre located at 7000 E. Mayo Blvd. Phoenix, AZ 85054.
